Dear friends of sport

Repeated calls and years of effort by sports enthusiasts have, in this generation of sports workers, finally found fertile ground and become a concrete reality.

We founded Športna zveza Piran, which will unite — and above all connect — the associations of the Municipality of Piran. I’d venture to say we are a “sport-sleepy” municipality. That’s why we want to bring together the energy that drives each individual club and create a synergy that brings everyone new opportunities. Our shared, ultimate goal: to encourage and draw the local population — children and adults alike — into the sport and recreational activities of the associations and clubs.

Join circles where the tireless work of many volunteers is a shared motivation, where everyone can do something for the community alongside what they do for themselves. Every hour spent on sport is an hour invested in a better society.

We fill sports facilities with children’s playful laughter, with the effort of repeated drills, with the cheers of supporters, with the encouragement of coaches and sports teachers. And, above all, with responsible care for the property entrusted to our use and management.

On behalf of the team that has prepared Športna zveza Piran for its first steps, I proudly invite you to join us. The choice is wide, and not final. Join us!
